When you go through something dark and gray you need time to adjust. We all have different ways of coping with life changing events. There is not a right or wrong answer on how to deal and cope with a storm. I’m officially breaking my silence. Surrendering the control to isolate and hold everything in. It’s time for me to let things out into the open. My hope is to inspire others to do the same. By letting our emotions be heard we grow into the light, and out of the dark.
I often find we are all sharing about our success, but never our challenges.
A week ago today I was faced with some life changing news. The job I have loved so much was no longer going to be mine. (The company I currently work for has been sold.) My last working day with them will be March 27th. I have gone through a roller coaster of emotions since then. Here’s where I have landed. In life there is always a new chapter. This is not the end of my story or career, it’s just another page in my book. The past ten years have been a dream come true. I have grown, been challenged, took on responsibilities I never thought possible, met amazing people and really grew to love the color pink! PMS 210 will live in my heart forever!
So, in truth “Don’t’ let your “crayons quit”!!!!!” There is always a new chapter that awaits! My gray will turn to color and that blank white page will be filled in again!
A special thank you to everyone who has reached out to me. The love I have received has truly been remarkable. The comforting hugs, text messages, phone calls, FB messages, cooked food, kind words, shared tears, and so much more has been greatly needed and LOVED.
Continue on this journey with me, blog with me, laugh with me, cry with me, and most of all share with me! Expressing myself through this blog will help me create that next chapter! I can’t wait to share it with all of you!
If you have any questions please feel free to ask. I am ready to share! Till then I will blog on!
