There are all kinds of sweater choices these days. The biggest decision I make when picking out a sweater is how it feels. Truth be told, I have purchased a few that look really cute. Unfortunately, they don’t feel cute! They itch like crazy! So I have implemented a few sweater purchasing rules I would like to share! First, make sure you take a mirror selfie. This helps you identify how the sweater will really look. Example: I could not decide on sizes for this particular sweater. I was not sure if I wanted it to be slouchy or tight. I made my decision after trying different sizes and taking a few selfies! Second, make sure you have the sweater fabric against your skin. We tend to be rushing these days, sometimes even skipping the fitting room altogether! I don’t find this to be a productive sweater buying choice. Layering sweaters is great, but you might miss that it’s super itchy or is simply not fitting the way you want. Third, wait for January sales! Most of my sweater buying is always in January. Stores are starting to think spring, while most of us are still in the midst of winter!
Happy snuggly sweater shopping! All opinions expressed are my own.

GREAT LOOK!!! I think you are spot on with this fit!! I love comfy/soft sweaters too and I def agree that fit also needs to be a factor….I wear anything from a small to xl…depending on fit!
I like sweaters that look nice too but find the mirror
to be my vote.
Another thing to remember is warmth. Some sweaters look
great but are not warm enough for the below zero wind chills…etc. I find fleece to be very soft and keeps the cold out and the warmth in….
That sweater is gorgeous, babe! Love the off the shoulder neckline. The pink and maroon looks amazing together!
